About Quickola

Quickola operates a local-services marketplace connecting customers with independent providers. Quickola is the operator and data controller for information it processes through this service. The repository does not contain the verified legal entity name, registered address or dedicated privacy email; those details must be confirmed and added before this notice is treated as final. Privacy questions can currently be sent through our contact page.

Information we collect

Account and authentication

Information: Email, authenticated account identifiers and Google account profile name where supplied.
Why: Create and secure accounts and confirm email access.
Legal basis: Contract/steps requested before contract; legitimate interests in account security.

Provider profile and services

Information: Name, business name, phone, provider type, photo, biography, experience where provided, services and service areas.
Why: Create provider profiles, review applications and match suitable work.
Legal basis: Contract/steps requested before contract; legitimate interests in marketplace safety.

Jobs, quotes and bookings

Information: Job descriptions, service/location details, quotes, booking, completion, cancellation and payment status records.
Why: Operate the marketplace, arrange services, support participants and resolve disputes.
Legal basis: Contract; legal obligation where applicable; legitimate interests in dispute prevention.

Messages and reviews

Information: Messages, message attachments, reviews, ratings and related timestamps.
Why: Enable communication, maintain marketplace context, display reputation information and handle complaints.
Legal basis: Contract; legitimate interests in safety, quality and dispute handling.

Payments and booking-fee records

Information: Stripe references, booking-fee transaction details and payment status. In the current booking-fee flow, providers do not need Stripe accounts and Quickola does not collect the provider’s quoted service price.
Why: Process customer booking-fee payments, maintain payment records and meet financial obligations. Historical or legacy records may be retained where needed for reconciliation.

Security and moderation

Information: Provider/account status, authentication state, support tickets and operational activity records.
Why: Prevent abuse, protect the platform, review eligibility and enforce the Provider Terms.
Legal basis: Legitimate interests in security and safe marketplace operation; legal obligation where applicable.

Technical information

Information: Quickola records limited technical and activity information used for security and support, including request IP address and user-agent where available, route or event details, session identifiers and selected form context. Activity records are retained for up to 90 days where used for operational review; legal-event records may be retained longer where needed for accountability or legal obligations.

Customers may provide names, email or phone details, postcodes, job descriptions, timing, access information, photos, payment status and booking history. Necessary customer information may be shared with the selected provider to arrange and perform a booked service.

Who we share information with

Information is shared only as needed to operate the marketplace: with the relevant customer or provider for a requested or booked service; with Supabase for database, authentication and storage services; with Stripe for customer booking-fee payments and payment records; and with Resend where transactional email is enabled. Historical or legacy payment records may involve additional processor data where required for reconciliation. We may disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, courts or authorities where required or permitted by law. The deployment host and exact processor locations are not established in this repository and require confirmation.

International transfers

Supabase, Stripe and email or hosting processors may process information outside the UK depending on configured accounts and locations. Quickola must confirm the countries and applicable adequacy decisions or other safeguards before making a more specific statement. We do not claim that all information remains in the UK.

Retention

We keep account and provider profile information while the account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary for support, safety and legal claims. Unsuccessful applications are kept only as reasonably necessary for review, abuse prevention and legal obligations. Booking, payment, tax and accounting records are kept for the applicable legal/accounting period. Messages, reviews and attachments are retained while needed to provide the service, preserve marketplace context, resolve disputes and prevent abuse, then deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and legal basis, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or data portability. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Rights are subject to legal exceptions, including records that Quickola must retain. Matching, automated processing and cookies

Quickola uses service selections, service areas, job details, provider status, email verification and Stripe readiness to filter which opportunities a provider can see and whether the provider can quote. This is ordinary marketplace eligibility and matching logic; current code does not evidence a solely automated decision producing legal or similarly significant effects. Read the separate Cookies notice for cookie information. Quickola does not currently evidence advertising cookies.

The legal entity, registered address, processor locations and final legal wording still require confirmation and professional legal review before launch.
